Fly on Aladdin’s Carpet at the Tokyo Disney SeaWorld!

For all those who love Disney World rides, here is something more to love. The Tokyo Disney SeaWorld is introducing a new ride called Jasmine’s Flying Carpet. based on the Disney film Aladdin. Now this seems straight out of the fantasy world and into the Disney World!

In this ride, the guests will be able to soar above Jasmine’s lovely garden and also spot their friends and relatives from a raised platform. The vehicle will be able to vary its height by five meters and will also be able to tilt forward and backward, all these maneuvers making the guests feel like they are actually flying on a carpet!There are total of sixteen vehicles, each vehicle having a carrying capacity of four people, two in the front and two at the back.

This $22.1 million ride will take the number of facilities at the Tokyo Disney SeaWorld to a total of 32 facilities which includes 27 attractions, 2 character greeting facilities, and three entertainment facilities.

Those eagerly waiting to enjoy this ride will have to wait till the summer of 2011, when this ride will be inaugurated for everyone, both young and old, at the Tokyo Disney SeaWorld theme park, facing the scenic Tokyo Bay in Chiba Pref.

  • The correct name of the park is Tokyo DisneySea, not Disney Sea World. There are no trained dolphins, seals or whales at this park. After visiting all of the Disney parks on the globe I can say honestly that this is the most amazing park within Disney Theme Parks.
