The latest entrant in this category is a pen which has been crafted by a company known as Ferrari da Varese and we think it is unrelated to Bugatti rival automaker. Well, this writing instrument has been crafted in aluminum with a gorgeous coating of nickel, sterling silver, palladium and some platinum too which really endows it with a deep luster.
18 carat gold makes the nib which has been coated with rhodium. And the barrel features a sapphire glass window. The credit for this wonderful creation goes to Luigi Trenti. It weighs a solid 95 grams and comes sitting pretty in a leather and aluminum case. They have manufactured only 499 roller balls and 499 fountain pens, each of which will be selling for $15,000.
