Facundo Poj Lets Go Of The Curves For Some Simplicity

Hmmm….the last time we checked out the works of Miami-based furniture designer Facundo Poj, we particularly noticed that practically everything was curvaceous. Yep, you heard it right. All the bamboo designs were extensions of an idea that continued in a single stroke of a line on a piece of paper. Well, so much for his past line of work. Let us now introduce to what he has just come up with, and the latest creations are quite different, to say the least.

Dubbed the Machine 87 bamboo collection, this one is all about angles. For this Poj made use of simplicity in place of using curved bamboo that has plywood layers stuck together with non-toxic glue.

Have no doubt, the new range has also been made in bamboo but by employing a different approach and method. 100 per cent bamboo has been used without the aid of any nails, screws and glue. A simple groove joint system keeps the assembling intact. And that’s just why the designer did not require any tools. A beeswax finishing seals the deal for this wonderful collection of both adult and children furniture.
