Brigitte Bardot Gets Chocolate-ised By Fauchon

Back in 2008, brand Fauchon (the choco delicacies of which an give anybody a sweet tooth) surprised the world with a new chocolate printing technique that can actually display images. Well, if you remember these guys are the same who won accolades for the famous éclair Mona Lisa. And now its latest gourmandise comes from a Tribute Collection that features none other than the beautiful French actress Brigitte Bardot. And this toffee set apart for it blends sweet and sensual flavors of almonds and roses.

Mind you, this is the first treat of the French classic collection by Fauchon and it is already creating quite a delicious stir. Dubbed the ‘BB’ éclair, this one is exclusively available a the Paris Fauchon store located at 26 Place de la Madeleine in the 8th arrondissement. The price is 6 euros, we presume a piece.

Here’s a li’l dope into the Fauchon history. Auguste Fauchon who originally created the brand worked as a treet vendor and then a wine merchant only to create this candy shop (with due respect) later on. And today, the name Fauchon is a much respected luxury gourmet store that is known for selling unusual and refined products.
