It was in the middle of the big guitar rage (yep, we are referring to the 70s)Bob Taylor and his friends set out to set a new benchmark with the foundation of Taylor Guitars. And this year, their little venture is 35 years old and looks back to a glorious history of music, creativity and popularity. To mark this occasion, they have decided to make a limited edition anniversary model as well as premium versions of existing models.

The launch of the first series will see the solid body XXXV-SB-K (koa), solid body VVVV-SB-QM (quilted maple), the semi-hollow body XXXV-T3-C (cocobolo) and the semi-hollow body (XXXV-T3-K (koa) stealing the show.

Solid-body fans will be glad to see the shimmering feathered koa top of the XXXV-SB-K and the golden smooth waves of quilted maple of the XXXV-SB-QM. The two solid body anniversary models have been made in mahogany with a sloping venetian cutaway and a single fretboard inlay “35″ between 11th and the 12 frets. The bridge is ultra-adjustable and has easy rolling control knobs as well as a shaded edge burst.
