devongtx Devon GTX Could Be An All American Supercar

European automakers have always enjoyed the undisputed status of creating exclusive supercars. But that little details might just change with what brand Devon has been up to. Well, the company has hopes to hit the market big time with its GTX. Rumors lead us to believe that the American exotic car will finally be here and the first look of the dream machine will be unveiled exclusively at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

The Devon GTX is expected to come packed with an 8.4-liter V10 engine that has been sourced from the Dodge Viper. It will be powerful enough to tune in 650 horsepowers and will work together with a six-speed manual transmission system. The car body will be on a steel frame that has carbon fiber panels for cover.

The front 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels have the Michelin Pilo Sport 2 Z-rated tires. Six-piston and four-piston break calipers in the front and rear keep you safe and sound. A quality that was much needed keeping in mind the monstrous capacity of the car’s engine. So far only 36 units will be created every year. The price tag reads $500,000. You can up it with a racing package for an extra $25K.
