Australia-based SGR Radio has developed the 4-Way Active Floorstanders. These speakers are quite a marvel, so we have heard. To start with, they consist of 22 drivers and promise an output of 8000W. And such a great sound efficiency has been smartly packed in a design to match.
The company reps say that they have used the Illuminator range od drivers from SCanSpeak for all spekers powering between 60Hz to 40Khz. After step one is achieved, each speaker is then augmented down by the SGR ultra-low distortion 12 woofers that are built with a Linear Symmetrical Gap motor structure. Not jus that, a self-canceling mounting structure has been implemented with the front woofers internally to reduce the box vibration. The price tag reads $68,500.
