Les Paul Guitar Resurrected by Billy Gibbons & Gibson Guitars

gibbons_ Les Paul Guitar Resurrected by Billy Gibbons & Gibson Guitars

This celeb is up for a musical cause. We are talking about Billy Gibbons who has decided to team up with Gibson Guitars to once again create the sacred Pearly Gates, which, by the way, is a rare 1959 Gibson Les Paul guitar that makes music lover go weak in the knees.

So far only three models across 350 units are being made, each imitating every minute detail of the legendary instrument. And 250 from these will get the signature Gibson Custom’s patented V.O.S. finish. Another 50 will be aged to look exactly like the original Pearly Gates while te remaining 50 will be signed and played by Gibbons himself. Indeed, quite a treat has been planned for music lover.

The maple tops of he guitars glaunt a stylish Heritage Cherry Sunburt finish. Complementing it is the shining nickel hardware along with the gold top hat control knobs. Other features include vintage Kluson-style tulip tuner, a lightweight aluminum string-over stopbar which allows you to set the strings in Bill’s style. The high end versions will cost you $25,882 while the remaining two will come at $15,294 and $11,176 respectively.
