Roberto Cavalli Starts Up A New Saint- Honoré Service
The financial hard times might have struck the fashion houses of several prominent names like Christian Lacroix, but not for Roverto Cavalli. As a matter of fact, he is actually expanding his empire and has not stooped down to cutting selling prices as well. Well, kudos to the Cavalli loyals who have stood by him even through the crisis.
But we do have to give some credit to Cavalli himself too for his dedication to create something spectacular. The promotional strategies also play a part, though. The latest being ‘Roberto Cavalli Saint- Honoré’, which is really a made-to-measure service.
So if you have the moolah, buzz in for entirely handmade dresses in a special space situated above the Rue Saint-Honoré store. And they have kept a strict count that only 35 dresses will be made every year. The starting price for this service is $40 K, that too for a cocktail dress. Cavalli’s wife Eva has clarified that the effort is not a couture collection but just an extension of the house for extra-special red-carpet events.
