DNA2Diamonds can Turn Dead Pets into Diamonds

Did you ever know that diamond can also be extracted literally from your deceased pet’s ashes or a lock of its hair? This is freaky and sounds very unbelievable. However, a company called DNA2Diamonds comes up with a weird way of creating this sparkling gem out of your deceased pet. This requires a long process though.

All you need to do is to submit a DNA sample of your deceased pet to the company. They will then go through a series of procedures such as; extracting carbon from the sample, adding the carbon to a real diamond seed, which is then placed to an incubator so that it grows. After going through all the necessary procedures, the stone is finally cut and is closely examined by the Gemological Institute of America before it is packaged and sent to you.

What’s even more surprising is that you can turn the remains of your pet into a red, yellow-green or cognac diamond. You can also have the stone set in a ring, bracelet, earring or pendant and choose the shape and carat size according to your choice. The whole thing still sounds weird and impossible. However, even if it’s true, one thing that is still skeptical is the quality of the diamond.
