Daniel Libeskind’s Foray Into Home Accessories With Luxe Tea Set

We had never imagined the famous Polish architet Daniel Libeskind to go into designing home accessories. Well, if you take a look at his modern architectural creations like the Jewish Museum in Berlin and the Imperial War Museum North in Manchester, you will know what we talking about. But with the 2009 Milan Desin Week in action, the man surprised everyone with a luxury tea set that he designed for the brand Sawaya & Moroni.

Libeskind’s glossy tea set carries the signature edgy architectural style of his as it looks like a sculptural object for use at home. Made by hand, the sterling silver tea set includes a tea pot, coffee two tea cups, asugar bowl and tray.

The concept is reflective of the contemporary urban lifestyle. So far only 10 units are veing made, another reason for the tea set to be talked about for! Expect the price to pretty high.
