Concept Blade Sharpen The Expectations Of A Speaker

kef-concept-blade Concept Blade Sharpen The Expectations Of A Speaker

Most music techies have the welcomed MUON speaker designed by KEF’s Ross Lovegrove as the most extraordinary of its kind to be ever created. But that doesn’t stop us from introducing you to the new kid (please read ’speaker’) on the block. Well, created  by the same renowned audio manufacturer, Concept Blade loudspeaker takes sound and style to a new level.

The result of three years of exhaustive research and development, the Concept Blade was finally achieved by the acoustic research department at KEF by combining the technologies that generate pure sound.

If you look at the design at close, the highly curved carbon fiber/balsa composite cabinet provides high stiffness to minimize cabinet vibration. Even the side-firing bass units are positioned so as to be symmetrical around the Uni-Q driver. This means that the entire frequency is radiated from one point in space. Also, the bass extension is extraordinary and produces quality sound even when played loud due to the four new 10in. low frequency drivers. Sadly, this loudspeaker was only created to flaunt KEF’s expertise in music technology and might not see the light of the day.
