Bag It Like Victoria Beckham
With a very rich footballer husband like David Beckham and a dress line to her credit, Victoria Beckham, we feel, has every right to defy recession and flaunt a super-expensive collection of bags that goes more than US $2.3 million. And her all time favorite seems to be about 100 of Hermes Birkin designer bags which alone amount to $2 million.
For the uninitiated, this bag is named after actress Jane Birkin and had become a hot choice for the fashionable and even serves as a status symbol. The basic Birkin bag models costs anything between $6,000-$7,000. And we heard that one of the Birkin’s that Vic owns cost hubby dear some $122,000. Called the ‘Silver Himalayan ‘ bag, this one is festooned with a three carat diamond.
We have a feeling that she has a couple of LVs stowed away in the closet too. Can’t blame her because recession is never heard to hit the rich very hard. Any takers?
