Chrome & Merc SLR McLaren, Together A Deadly Combo
A snazzy sport car is one thing other than a PYT (pretty young thing) that is sure make heads turn. We distinctly remember coming across reports of spotting a sexy Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, all chromed up and zipping by the streets of Dubai. And now, we hear of a similar wicked machine doing the rounds of Manchester in England.
The car is owned by an avid car lover El Hadji Diuof, who is also a player of the Blackburn Rovers Football Club of the English Premier League Football Club in the town Blackburn, Lancashire. No wonder, this cool dude had moolah enough to shell out close to $637,000 on a blinged-up version of the McLaren Merc.
Apparently, Hadji hasn’t limited his love for speed to this car alone as folks reveal that he was previously seen driving cars to the tune of Range Rovers, Lincoln Navigators and Cadillac Escalades. Wow, some guys have all the luck. Hear hear, Arsenal defender William Galllas as well as Claude Makelele also own the same McLaren Merc which does a 0-60mph in just 3.6 seconds. The top speed is 207mph.
