Mayan Temple Desk: An Art Piece for Your Desk

Desks can be the most boring of furniture pieces, but imagine if you could have the money that could buy it, you picked up this Mayan Temple Desk!

While it brings to mind those amazing temple structures of Mayans, it also makes sense in an otherwise boring office room. The functional piece of art was designed by Tom Spina and fabricated by Richard Riley. The design is classic, but material used in it is apt. Desk features in Mayan Desk are hand sculpted, carved foam coated with fiberglass for a sturdy structure.
Each of the desk sculptures is then textured and painted with an old world finish, to make it look like an ancient carved stone. The height of the desk is 28 inches while its width is 60 inches.
Is it not a grab-worthy find for your home office? The desk has a half inch thick glass to top it, with polished edges. It also has a drawer unit and carved alcove for the computer or other equipment. A sure piece to be shown off in a lounge too!
