The oh-so-extravagant Indian wedding dresses will also shy away (you can well imagine the reaction of the other minimalist white versions popular in other countries) at the sight of this new Peacock wedding dress that was unveiled at the wedding expo held in Nanjing, the capital of east China’s Jiangsu Province. And this one is as royal as it can get!
Made with close to 2,009 pieces of peacock feathers, this dress was finished in two months and kept eight handicraftsmen busy day and night. It might appeal to the lover of the unique for it is indeed rare to have a wedding dress with the peacock motif. It will definitely make you look like a million bucks.
However, we must also admit that we feel the dress in no doubt pretty but the feathers look prettier when on the peacock. A matter to be handled for PETA activists! Oh yeah, we forgot to mention the price — $1.5 million.
