Bamford Opens Up A Luxe Boutique In Barbados
The name Bamford Ltd is nothing new to those who like to enjoy their Rolexes with a bit of the personal touch. The British company has now decided to explore other pastures like the new exclusive and luxurious beach boutique at Barbados. We hear that Carole Bamford, founder of the brand, wanted to create something that blends well with the romantic and relaxed feel of the gorgeous island resort.
A definite celebration of opulence with a simplicity that will be admired by all who think true luxury lies in not flaunting it. Sitting pretty in the lap of the very beautiful St. James chattel house that seems to have a history of its own, this Beach Boutique stores ready-to-wear and body collections for both men and women along with some home wares and lifestyle products made by local artisans.
We especially liked the silk kaftans that are hand embroidered. Even the organic khaki cotton accessories from India need a special mention. There is a whole range of things like ceramic rosary beads, quirky slogan beach baskets, straw hats and sandals to choose from. Yeah, the price is a little high.
