BRD Simulator Pod: Mock Drive or Race at Ease

simulator-pod BRD Simulator Pod: Mock Drive or Race at Ease

It’s the latest in driving simulation and aims at making learning to drive as comfortable an experience as possible. `Simulator Pod’, brought out by Ball Racing Developments, as its makers put it, is simple to operate, handle and needs very little intervention.

The simulator sports headphones for driver’s flexibility, and also so that there is least noise trouble. It is PC operated, and has various racing software options. Of course, this is subject to licence approval.

Headphones for maximum driver flexibility in usage and minimum noise interference. A Kevlar seat upholstered in fabric and mounted on adjustable levers, makes it easier to set the right height for the driver or learner.

The Simulator’s frame is piped with inserted panels of brushed stainless steel. It has force-feedback steering for that real-time experience. On either side of the bottom section of the pod, there are hinged door panels that allow access to the compute console and electronic and electrical equipment. Its pedal controls are of high quality. A 17 inch flat wide screen coupled with built-in lighting effects, makes the driving simulation experience all the more worthwhile.
