Riva’s Rivale Palm Beach Yacht: For that Luxe Water Ride

Want a luxury yacht that is compact, yet spacious? It will cost you only Rs 2.46 million. Riva, Italian luxury yacht maker that is a counted favourite among the likes of Sophia Loren, Aristotle Onassis and Prince Ranier of Monaco, will showcase its latest model – Rivale Palm Beach this weekend, at the Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show.

The 52-feet yacht that is made particularly to suit the American market, can be manned by the owner himself or herself. Despite its compact looking size, the yacht has space enough for two guest cabins other than the owner’s – the master cabin that is located at the vessel’s bow, and a bathroom. With two 1100-hp Man engines, the yacht can attain a speed of 40 knots and a range of 260 nautical miles at its sailing speed.

As for the colour of the yacht, it moves a step away from the staid whites and greys. Instead, the boat’s deck and hull have been painted desert sand, and the dashboard detailed with a Roman bronze shade, giving that classic touch. Cabin walls in the yacht are made of elm wood, decorated with stitched up natural grain leather. Rivale Palm Beach is being made available in the market by Riva’s dealer in the US, Allied Marine.
