Balducci’s Caviar For The Festive Season

balduccisostera Balduccis Caviar For The Festive Season

Good news for the caviar fans among us. Balducci’s, the famous Greenwich Village gourmet shop which has now become a huge retail mogul, has just launched into the market its new line of private label caviar just in time to add to the festive season, already in swing.

There are three varities to choose from — Wild Caspian (covering the Sevruga and Royal Osetra varieties), Farmed International and Domestic. As part of the offering, you can also enjoy the first true Russian Sturgeown which is being cultivated (and successfully so too) in Germany for the manufacturing of genuine Osetra caviar.

The price is extremely affordable at $9.99 for domestic Salmon and Paddlefish while the precious Wild Caspian Royal Osetra comes for $1,500. Balducci’s claims that all caviars have been carefully picked to ensure ‘complex flavors’ that are both clean and crisp in texture. Well, we haven’t tried one ourselves but going by the pre-existing standards raised by Balducci’s, you won’t regret buying these.
