You might need shades to protect your eyes from the gold glitter that is just too much to handle. Gold has made a come back! These days whatever you set your eyes on is covered in Gold and this gild up roadster is the ultimate! Pura Onda, the pure-bred ‘64 Chevy Impala SS has been under a golden revamp by Robert Espinoza. This championship car was banned from competition by Lowrider Events in 2001, after it reached its limit of Sweepstakes wins! Some winner I say. Pura Onda is an eternal piece of art and lowriding history. I have no idea about the money gone into the revamp of this head-turner, but one thing’s for sure, it’s done with gold.

This car has got a gold treatment of sorts. Anything you set your eyes on is golden! One look inside the trunk of the redone SS and you are back to the old school of gold with by tons of engraving that you just can’t miss. Everything in the car, from the woofer magnets to the seat brackets, has been given the gold treatment. The roof is done with right amount of gold foil and pin striping. If you take a look under the vehicle, you will find that 90 percent of the parts are dipped in gold.
