‘My Soft Office” Concept by Hella Jongerius

My Soft Office

Big Controversy: The contemporary reality doesn’t allow us to cherish domestic comfort and pleasure; hence we end up spending chief hours of the day in office. And we take every initiative to spill over dough for decorating our houses with a compromise to stay amidst that dull gray and furniture installed by default now for ages at our offices. Rightly realizing this Hella Jongerius unveiled a new look to the dull office at the exhibition Worksperes in the Museum of Modern Art [MOMA] in New York. Called ‘My Soft Office,’ it aims at discovering the revolutionary workplace.

The designer concept was demonstrated at the exhibition space of VIVID Design in Rotterdam. Right on the heels of its name, Hella put together the needs of a person, practice and products into a treasured experience. The accessories as a part of this initiative features a keyboard with an integrated snack plate, a comfortable double bed that behaves no less than a business desk with installed monitors and others needful i.e. speakers, keyboard and mouse are positioned inside the pillows.
