A nod is being given to install a new torque skyscraper in Russia in the city of Yekaterinburg. To-be called as Iset Tower, its name is derived from Iset River that stands 215 meters and its construction is in the hands of French developers Bouygues Batiment. Wrapped in a cylindrical form around the central core, almost a third of the way up the tower has started to cut away divulging the center, thereby offering it a spiraled effect right at its crest.
The glass facades are expected to be gold tinted against the white spine, providing it an elite appeal on the skyline. Balconies intersperse the portico to enable the residents breathe fresh air besides enjoying the beautiful interiors. The point tower turns spiral upwards; green spaces are visible offering a scenic view to the dwellers. It seems that the tower is connected to the adjacent edifice via a sky bridge; this could perhaps be accessible to either work or more prominently for retail therapy space. The tower is an abode for 115 luxury apartments that fit in with the lavish gold tones of the loom. It features beauty/ spa centre, fitness centre and private parking. The formal foundation stone laying ceremony happened on 12 February 2007 but till no the construction yet to begin and word is around that it will be erected by 2010.
