$30,000 Three-Wheeled Electric Car Can Beat Porsche

Featured above is a two-seater and three-wheeled coupe that can burn roads with a speed of 156mph, thereby bringing revolution in driving world. Oooops…don’t weave all your hopes now as it will take yet another year to put pressure on your wallet. Touted as Derek Trotter’s Reliant Robin–ZAP Alias, this environmentally friendly coupe is first-of-its-kind to hit Britain’s roads.
It can ride to 60mph within mere 5.7 seconds. It is here when it gets edge over Porsche Boxster. Driven by two electric wheel motors with each wheel on the face of the car complemented by the single wheel at its back, this is an elite model.
It is manufactured by the American electric car maker ZAP; an established name for producing Zero Air Pollution has delivered 100,000 vehicles to more than 75 countries since 1994. Its development is being supported by Lotus, the British car company. The three-wheeled car is in production next year and is expected to be valued at $30,000 (£15,000). A presenter for ZAP depicts the Alias as “a new kind of car, a new kind of experience”. On a single recharge, it can run more than 100 miles with a two engines that generate 322 horse power — unbeatable for £60,000 Porsche 911 Carrera.
