MacBook Air: World’s Thinnest Laptop Fits in Manila Envelope

News is Steve Jobs minds cannot be at rest. He keeps on delivering productions that makes us say: What! When! How! Following the custom of producing unique creations, Apple today has made up to headlines by unveiling the world’s thinnest laptop named the MacBook Air at the MacWorld 2008.

This ultra-portable laptop measures 0.16 to 0.76 inches and weighs 3.0 pounds. Your jaw may fall to imagine the sleekness of this laptop. To my utter-surprise, the laptop can fit into a manila envelope easily. It features a 13.3-inch widescreen LED display with built-in iSight, Intel Core 2 Duo processors running at 1.6 GHz or 1.8 Ghz, a multi-touch trackpad, black LED backlit keyboard, ambient light sensor, micro-DVI port, charming latch closing apparatus, 1.8″ hard drive in archetypal 80 GB form or elective 64 GB solidstate drive, 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth 2.1/EDR, 5 hour battery life, possible external SuperDrive and 2 GB memory.

It also boasts of eco-friendly interior machinery like entirely aluminum casing, mercury and lead free body. It seems Al Gore will be taking one to fly in his private jet. The Air is definitely going to be a revolution in the industry of laptop designs. It would be available for shipping within two weeks from now but its pre-ordering is on at $1799.
