MV Agusta F4 Interceptor: World’s Fastest and Most Expensive PWC?

Personal Watercraft
Known as MV Agusta F4 Interceptor, a carbon fibre hulled V8-engined Personal Watercraft (PWC), which is touted as the world’s fastest and most expensive PWC. Lately, MV Agusta unveiled this PWC at the Milan Motorcycle Show scheduled in Italy. It features a new locomotive, which is formed after blending two motorcycle engines.
Agusta claims to pick two of its high performance 1078cc four-cylinder engines and produce a Swiss-watch-like 2156cc V8 powerplant that will command the limited edition 308 bhp carbon fiber–hulled two-seater. With scarce information available, the known facts include this interceptor has a CDI explosion, electronic fuel insertion, a 3-blade stainless steel impeller that makes use of a 160mm high pressure axial flow pump. It claims to weigh 238 kg dry.
The controversy that no PWC can exceed 65 mph is still on between the manufacturers and the Coast Guard arousing all our doubts about its entry in U.S. We are hopeful it would soon come to a wise compromise and you will be offered with the limited numbers of F4 Interceptor in 2008. With no price information available, one is prepared to welcome it as the most expensive production PWC ever produced.
