Miro’s Blue Star Sets Record; Painting Fetches $16.7 mn at Paris Auction

And here is another record-breaking painting auction. Featured above is a 1927 painting identified as ‘Blue Star’ (1893-1983). This beautiful creation by a prominent Spanish artist Joan Miro lately got sold for 11.6 million Euros ($16.7 million) in Paris against its expected price of $10mn.
 
Auctioneers claim to label it as the highest price earned by Miro for his creation. Miro also welcomed this much-deserving price fetched by this core production. Other artistic creation auctioned here belongs to Picasso, Juan Gris, Leger, and Laurens that generated a total sale of 21.8 million Euros. Miro’s another creation called ‘Bird’ earned him 6.2 million Euros.
