Jurassic Park Tyrannosaurus Rex to Fetch $80,000

Tyrannosaurus RexWhile earlier I told you about the props of Terminator 2 to be auctioned, news is the model head of Tyrannosaurus Rex used in Jurassic Park would also be auctioned in California. The model is constructed from foam latex, polyfoam, carbon fiber, graphite, steel, aluminum, and other plastics. Measuring 79 inches tall, the model with movable eyes is anticipated to fetch $80,000 (£40,000) during a Profile in History auction in Calabasas, California on 13-14 December. Amongst other props ready to catch fans eyes are Mary Poppins’ coat, Superman’s red cape, Batman’s mask, the Riddler’s suit worn in Batman Forever and the captain’s chair used in Star Trek.
