Bonds hits record-breaking 756th home run, Ball auctioned to generate $500,000

Matt Murphy of Elmhurst, New York displays the ball that Barry Bonds hit for his record-breaking 756th home run. Murphy takes this opportunity of putting this ball before public by organizing a press conference at MoMos Restaurant in San Francisco, California.

Murphy is planning to set this ball for auction and expecting a big amount of $500,000 in return. Together with Sotheby and SCP Auctions Inc., an Internet auction is scheduled that begins on 28 August. This unparalleled achievement of No. 756 has overshadowed the hits made by Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth till date.
