Really! This was my first reaction after seeing the S$388,000 diamond encrusted football model exhibited at SUNTEC International Exhibition & Convention Hall in Singapore. The exhibition is a part of the Singapore International Jewelry Show 2007 that is rocking with over-populated visitors.
This elite and pricey football model is covered with over 7500 black and white diamonds. I believe the charm of the football is such that it can be used as a symbol of trophy for any upcoming sports tournament in football category. Must-say, if this happens it would definitely end up being the most-expensive game.

Here are the photographs of people featured in US author Jack Kerouac’s renowned generation novel “On The Road”. In front of it, the case captures a thirty-six foot section of scroll containing the original manuscript of his novel at the San Francisco Main Library in San Francisco, California.
This astounding fictional script of the 20th century came out in 1957 and unfolded the drug-fueled road trips across America along with his fellow writers, poets and artists. Entire narration is in a natural stream of consciousness genre and set to the strains of bebop jazz, Kerouac became the voice of the Beat Generation almost overnight.
To pay tribute to his work, the tale of disaffected youth struggling to find a place in post-war America is to be re-released in its original form after 50-years where unedited, unabridged and with the real names of Kerouac’s traveling companions are restored.

The original manuscript auctioned in 2001 for $2.4 mn to a private buyer will be displayed at the New York Public Library as part of the exhibition “Beatific Souls: Jack Kerouac’s On the Road” scheduled for November 2007.
