World’s most expensive photograph on display in Istanbul

99 Cent II, Diptychon

German photographer 2001 photo titled “99 Cent II, Diptychon,” broke all the records, when it was sold of at breathtaking price of $3.3 million. At this price the photograph has added to itself a tag of being the most expensive photograph in the world clicked by a living photographer. The photograph depicts a crammed department store and is a part of Gursky’s collection For those who consider themselves to be the connoisseurs of luxury and do not mind appreciating it.

Let me tell you that the photograph is on display at the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art from August 6th onwards.
