World’s largest natural pearl for sale, auctioned in Abu Dhabi

world's largest pearl

Seems this 575 carat, world’s largest natural pearl (a legacy from 12th century owned by Chinese emperors and Persian kings) is going to win the heart of the people in the centuries to come.

The stone will be up for bidding in Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace and on the Internet on 3 May, with the estimated cost it is supposed to raise–$8 million. The credit for the smallest cost of the saltwater pearl known as known as the Arco Valley pearl’s goes to its size, color, weight, exclusivity, history and the popularity it has gained till date.

This 800 years old pearl is expected to catch at least 400 people from around the Emirates and the Gulf countries as well as from China, India, the U.K., the U.S. and Tahiti.
